t2e gives a summary of the 2019 Compliance year
The Environment Exchange (t2e) platform has said that the 2019 compliance period saw a record number of packaging recovery notes (PRNs) traded.
Trading exceeded 1.75 million tonnes of PRNs traded, an increase of 17% on the previous compliance year.
Of these, 1.09 million tonnes were traded in the 2019 spot market, and 666,174 tonnes across forward markets.
