Recycling obligations ‘to rise for 2021’
Packaging specialists have welcomed the publication of obligation figures for 2021 on the National Packaging Waste Database (NPWD), with the initial total obligation set at 7,405,899 tonnes.
Currently, this is down from 7,616,936 tonnes in 2020, though the obligations could still change.
